OUR PLAYERS SHOOT FOR THE STARS!

Our Mission
The mission of the Moreno Valley Breakers Basketball program is to organize and administer a highly competitive and instructional basketball program for female athletes. Athletes will compete against highly competitive teams in state, regional and national competition. This will provide female athletes the opportunity to become leaders through hard work, based on commitment, desire, and talent; not on their financial status. The program will always demand good sportsmanship from players, parents, and coaches.

Coaching Philosophy
We strive to challenge our players to their maximum potential in practice and in games. We only play in tournaments that will be competitive; most often that means traveling is required. Our record is not our first concern. We believe players learn more from losing by ten points to a great team than beating a less competitive team by thirty. The club strives to find the best competition and to challenge players each and every time they step on the court.

In the MVB program we strive to challenge our players to their maximum potential in practices and games. Our Goal is to make the player a complete athlete. Our renewed focus is on personal improvement, game knowledge/decision making and team play, with less stress on the outcome of games.

Moreno Valley Breakers AAU basketball club car wash set for July 13

The Moreno Valley Breakers AAU basketball club is currently in our fifth year of providing young people in Moreno Valley the opportunity to travel and play highly competitive basketball.

We are currently raising funds for our annual trip to compete in the Amateur Athletic Union's National Basketball Championships this July 25 - 28.

We have planned car washes to take place at Shakey's and Discount Tire on Sunnymead blvd. in Moreno Valley on July 13th, 9am to 2pm. The team will wash cars and provide shade and beverages to those donating to our cause while they wait.
We are wondering if it would be possible to place a small article in your paper about our event to inform the public.

We currently have three teams middle school girls ages 13U, high school girls ages 15U, and boys high school ages 15U. Each team costs to enter the tournament are $600.00 a total of $1,800.00 for all three to compete. This does not include the cost of hotel fees to stay for the 3 days, while at Nationals with a total of 30 team members.
Although, some parents on the team can comfortably afford the dues and cost of hotel fees. The Breakers provide those the opportunity to compete on the same level as these other clubs (NJB, YBOA, YLBA and AAU) when their parents cannot meet the financial requirements other programs require. At this time most of the players on the team have parents who cannot afford the normal dues each month or come from foster homes who do not provide the extra expense.

KIDS ARE TAUGHT THAT THE TEAM IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE INDIVIDUAL.

AN INDIVIDUAL WHO WON'T IS NO BETTER THE ONE WHO CAN'T

NOT EVERYONE CAN BE FIRST TEAM, BUT EVERYONE CAN PUT TEAM FIRST.

ONE'S SPORTSMANSHIP IS IN DIRECT RELATION TO ONE'S CHARACTER.

THERE CAN BE NO ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT, WITHOUT SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT.

QUITTING CAN BECOME A HABIT, DON'T START.

T.E.A.M. - TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE
